I'm still on the fence about obmenu-generator.

I feel this is something the user should add.

I would include it for the following reasons

Not all distro users will be skilled in linux and can install obmenu-generator.
Even skilled users will have trouble at first with a new DE and its menu.
An application that creates menu's just by clicking on it with icons or no icons is pretty comvenient and KISS.
If at some point you would like to change the menu - there are two files that can easily be read and changed.
Menu can be made with or without icons just by clicking the menu.

I think it boils down to what end-users is going to use your distro and what level of comfort are you willing to provide out of the box.

Up to you.

cheers

In a few minutes time I will install ARCHLabs+3 on my SSD and run all scripts from github again.
We covered everything. It is going to be awesome. :ugeek:

well I am posting from my new ssd installation. Currently at personal scripts.
no issues
light theme is sooo much more readable - autologin was probably due to the fact that I could not see it
installing it on a dual monitor - so the image is spread out over the screens... but never mind that once we reboot the autostart file sets it right.

I'm hoping I could get some help with a dual screen. I can't get my sons set up to stick.
I'll send you an email.
