(solved) Tint2 Edit - Not opening any files

PostPosted by postmasterdclxvi » Sun Mar 05, 2017 9:24 pm

Environment - VirtualBox
VirtualBox version - 5.0.32
ISO version - archlabs-2017.03.02-.iso & archlabs-2017.02.25-.iso

Menu item - Preferences -> Tint2 -> Edit Tint2s -> Tint2 Edit. This gives a window for choosing the different tint2 configs that are available for editing. However, after choosing any of the tint2 config, the config file fails to open with no message of any sort. Manually running the command "al-tint2edit" and choosing a config file from the list gives an error message
"line 117: bl-text-editor: command not found".

Did not find the file "bl-text-editor" anywhere on the installed system. Maybe the al-tint2edit file can be edited to open the tint2 config file directly in geany or the "bl-text-editor" file will have to be copied from the bunsen labs live cd and placed in the required path with the appropriate name. ;)

Quick fix.

In the pipemenu script, replace 'bl-text-editor' with your editor of choice. I prefer Geany.
