(solved) Screenshots

PostPosted by HarronV » Tue Jun 27, 2017 7:46 am

The path for saving screenshots seems to be hardcoded to ~/Pictures ...
Due to my localisation the folder is named ~/Bilder.

Making a screenshot results in an error-message, and the file is saved in ~/

I might do some mismatching when searching for a solution on the net, because I was not able to find any ... yet.

Maybe somebody else has an idea to get around this little annoyance?

True,
my intention was to point out something that is not quite 'out of the box' ... if there is only the manual workaround, at least me can live with it.

We haven't got to the point where we can offer translations. Give us time, we will get there :D

Ha :-) LOL :-D

No, I thought there would be soething like $HOME ... $HOME/Pictures would be $PICTURES ... that could be used. But I have not found anything like it.

This shouldnt result in an error unless you delete the Pictures folder XD
Aside from that we can only really do so much as every user will have different preferences
I myself use ~/images, however the original command works fine on a default installation
