PostPosted by bomberman » Mon Jun 19, 2017 10:12 pm

Hi.

When i navigate in menu to my wallpapers folder and try open jpg files (Menu - Places - Picture - My wallpapers folder - files.jpg), the file open but with geany. I have setup the deafault application for jpg files (is viewnior). In file manager every thing works fine.

Hi.
i have resolved my problem. I find the script /usr/bin/al-places-pipemenu and comment this line: # [ -x "$1" ] && exec "$text_editor" "$1" # comment out this line if you don't want to edit executables instead of executing, and that help for me :).

Cheers.

Users can change these lines to change the behaviour of the pipemenu

Code: Select all
open_file() {
    [ -x "$1" ] && exec "$text_editor" "$1"     # comment out this line if you don't want to edit executables instead of executing
    #[ -x "$1" ] && exec "x-terminal-emulator -e" "$1"     # uncomment this and comment out previous line to run executables in terminal instead of editing
    [ "${1##*.}" = desktop ] && exec "$text_editor" "$1"     # comment out this line if you don't want to edit .desktop files instead of executing
    exec "$default_open_cmd" "$1"     # use default open command if above conditions not satisfied
}
