Introducing ...

PostPosted by HarronV » Wed Jun 07, 2017 10:45 pm

I am Volker from Hamburg, Germany. I started Linux back in the late 90s with Suse 6.0 but got distracted for quite some time.
I had to use Mac OSX and Windows for quite some time and became developer for C#.

But since the introduction of Windows 10, which had a bad habit (installing updates and rebooting without permission at the end of a 96h Render), I had to look for a new hobby: Distrohopping was a good choice.
I started 4 weeks ago with the arch way, went to Antergos, tried some overbloated common distributions and had the past 2 weeks a random installs of Antergos, Qubes and BunsenLabs. I finally had the right idea of a nearly perfect partitioning and workspace setup. And I got acquainted with the idea of leaving Arch and to live with BunsenLabs Debian ... Ha ... but I did not hear of you guys till yesterday ... searching for the reddit/r/bunsenlabs on phone, I was presented with archlabs ...

Here I am :-) Now I do not feel like trying another Distribution.
