(solved) Bluetooth Pairing

PostPosted by miharkula » Sat May 27, 2017 12:31 pm

I was trying to pair my Samsung Level U headphones and have not been successful.

I ran the initial steps at http://erikdubois.be/how-to-add-bluetoo ... headphone/ for installing/starting bluetooth service and rebooted. It can "see" my device, but when I click on it to set it up, it tries for a few seconds then stops and does not pair.

I also tried the manual steps at https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Bl ... on_via_CLI and I get this error:

Code: Select all
[mih@home ~]$ bluetoothctl
[NEW] Controller 08:3E:8E:50:6E:9E home [default]
[NEW] Device 38:D4:0B:98:F7:5B Samsung Level U
Agent registered
[bluetooth]# power on
[bluetooth]# agent on
Agent is already registered
[bluetooth]# default-agent
Default agent request successful
[bluetooth]# scan on
Failed to start discovery: org.bluez.Error.NotReady
Failed to set power on: org.bluez.Error.Failed

Anyone have some tips/suggestions?
